A Conference with New Perspectives
The Sierra Sessions: Clinical Insights and Creativity in Neurodivergence
16-18 SEPTEMBER 2026
Join us for The Sierra Sessions, held at the five-star Granada Palace in the magical city of Granada, Spain. This unique gathering will bring together eminent psychiatrists, researchers and neurodivergent creatives and practioners, to explore how neurodivergence shapes the way we think, work, create, and live. Expect thought-provoking talks, rigorous clinical updates, and rich lived experience — alongside flamenco, art, tapas, and a mountain walk-and-talk where ideas come alive off the page.
The 2026 Agenda
Below is our conference agenda. We are still in the process of finalising some of our speakers and timings, and so we will update the agenda as soon as the relevant details are confirmed. Therefore, you are advised to revisit this page over time to see how the days are starting to look.

Jen will converse on the relevant neurophysiology, and cognitive processes, and how this relates to artistic contributions by way of exploring one of her own tracks.
Stephen Wiltshire MBE, Hon.FSAI, Hon.FSSAA is an artist who draws & paints detailed cityscapes. He has a talent for drawing lifelike, accurate representations of cities, sometimes from memory. He was awarded an MBE for services to the art world in 2006. He studied Fine Art at City & Guilds Art College. Before completing one of his incredible drawings for us, there will be time for a brief chat with Stephen about his art.
How could a neurodiverse artist utilise iconography & symbolism in art? How does this fit in with the supposed 'rigidity' of a condition like ASD? A reflection of how neurodiversity can potentially enhance the artist's vision.
15:30 - 17:00pm: Open Panel Discussion
A final chance for all of us to engage in an open-ended discussion & reflection, and to consider what we may need to explore going forward.
